Consulting
In order to achieve their digital advantage, our customers need more than excellently programmed software. Business models, technology decisions, types of cooperation: all of these are linked in complex ways and must be holistically thought of to attain outstanding solutions. But we have always been conscious of that, and an integrated consultation approach has been part of our high-end software engineering from the beginning. What is new is that we are offering more and more consulting services, separately.

This mindset from the agile manifesto guides us. Therefore, it is obvious that all our consulting offers are based on our own practical experiences from multitudes of digitization projects over the course of a decade.
The added value achieved from this is highly appreciated by our customers: for example, Agile Consulting has been on the rise since 2021 with an annual increase of 20 to 30 percent. Our agile coaches are bestowing our customers in a targeted manner with the principles and methods which have been developed and honed in the many XITASO teams over the years. The offer extends from individual workshops for implementing initial impulses, to long-term support on massive projects through a complete coaching team in a scaled environment. Agile innovation methods like design sprints are implemented, as are tools for agile project management, always carefully thought through and oriented exactly to the project related requirements.
Our consultation projects for software modernization and renewal have a technical focus. Refactoring or rewrite? The analysis of existing systems is often the first step towards reaching such decisions, quite often concerning millions, in a responsible manner. However, it is never the Big Bang. A sustainable path to long-lasting software architectures always leads along a target-secure migration path, with a lot of sophisticated expertise for each individual, special case. This is how the subsequent projects not only have an inspiring technical landscape, but also a reliably timed travel plan. And our customers have security regarding budgets.
With the enhancement of our project requirements, we assume that there will be more and more people working mainly as a consultant at XITASO, meaning XITASOnians who see their core role as 'consultant'. The responsibility for the corresponding role profile has been taken on by our XSULT-Community. With the goal of 'Share, Learn & Celebrate' XSULT furthermore puts on regular consulting exchange events with festival-character. The authentic insights into super exciting projects should not be missed by anyone!
